:- 4.0 out of 5 stars from Game&ArtMom -- Creative cute creatures, filler zendoodle pages : I just love the whimsical, super-adorable style of the creatures to color in this book. The pictures really spark the imagination and the half-realistic, half-fantasy animals lend themselves to all sorts of ideas on the different styles and colors that can be used to color them in. What I didn't care for was that a third of the pictures in this book appear to be random, zendoodle filler pages. They do not even seem like they are done by the same artist, are very hodge-podgey, feel like they were added just to pad the book out, and kind of detract from the book over-all. I would have preferred the book to only have the 27 actual pictures in theme with the title and the 12 out-of-style zendoodle pictures left out. I might even have thought those other pictures were somehow a printing fluke if I hadn't ordered three copies of the book, all exactly the same. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from LAL -- Great Coloring Book : This coloring book is a lot of fun. The images are more fantasy oriented with cute critters and fanciful animals. The paper is a good thickness and the pages are single sided. The drawings themselves are clear, with good coloring areas. There are a few images with tiny designs inside the overall sketch - like in the case of mandalas (just for reference sake) - most are more open so you can get creative with coloring and filling in the images. Its very relaxing and would make a great gift for yourself or a fellow creative. I would highly recommend this coloring book. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2021 )
